Thank you for your interest in Pacific Post and Beam and the craft of timber framing.  Timber framing is the centuries old building method of joining timbers with wood-to-wood joints secured with wooden pegs.

Pacific Post & Beam was founded in 1983 in Sandpoint Idaho as a custom builder of timber frame homes, we relocated to San Luis Obispo in 1986.  In the 37 years we have been crafting   timberframes we have designed and built hundreds of timberframes and timber trusses for homes, restaurants and wineries.  We are now in a phase of limiting the types of projects we do. We are limiting our work on site and will no longer be erecting full timberframe buildings.  More of our projects are being cut CNC as opposed to hand cut in our shop.  Trusses will primarily be shipped assembled for installation by others.  Full frames will be cut on a limited basis for installation by others with support from Pacific Post & Beam.

Pacific Post and Beam has been distributor of Premier SIPs.  We now recommend you contact Premier Building Systems directly.  We will offer limited SIP consultation, we will no longer install SIPs or design SIP buildings.
