The Kensington SIP / timberframe project is underway, SIPs are being installed, timber to follow. We are hoping for a dry weather to finish by the end of December. The SIP home in Nipomo is dried in, roofing, siding, interiors are underway. The Atascadero home SIPs are all installed. The Morgan hill project is moving along, hope to build spring 2012. We are also in the planning / design process for a SIP home and foreman’s quarters on a ranch in San Miguel and have several truss and SIP projects in the planning process. October 2011 Newsletter

We have a timber frame barn / garage in plan check to be built in Portola Valley fall 2011. The Morgan hill project is in plan check, hope to build spring 2012. Pacific Post & Beam will be at the Sacramento Log & Timber Home Show September 23rd through the 25th, we will be booths 224 & 226. The SIP home in Nipomo is moving right along, the roof panels are on. The SIPs for the Atascadero being installed now. We have a barn / garage in design to be built in Portola Valley summer 2011. The Kensington SIP / timberframe project has broken ground, we will be on site with SIPs and timber in a month or so. The Morgan hill project is in plan check. We are also in the planning / design process for a SIP home and foreman’s quarters on a ranch in San Miguel. As we all know thing a a little slow in construction right now but we do have some projects in the works. The SIP home in Nipomo is under construction, the walls for the 2800 square floor down stairs are up, it took 2 men 40 hours to build the walls. The SIPs for the Atascadero project will be delivered July 29th. We have a barn / garage in design to be built in Portola Valley summer 2011. The Kensington SIP / timberframe project will break ground in August. The Morgan hill project is in plan check. The scissor trusses in Carmel have been installed, the reclaimed timber trusses came out beautiful, the cedar decking is on and the insulam panels have been installed. There are new photos on the website.
Also coming up in the Monterey area is a timber deck and stairway in Pacific Grove that will ship in spring 2011.
We have three structural SIP projects coming up in San Miguel, Atascadero and Nipomo, San Miguel is in design, the SIPs are on site in Nipomo and Atascadero is permitted and ready to go in July. The plans for the Timber / SIP hybrid project in Kensington are almost complete for submittal and plans are to build in summer 2011. The design for the timber frame home in Morgan Hill is in engineering and also scheduled for construction 2011.

The scissor truss project for Carmel is in the shop, the reclaimed timber trusses will be delivered April 11 weather permitting.
The stucco is done and roofing complete, gutters are on the 8000 square foot barn in Harmony . We are ordering the timber for the Japanese shrine soon.
Also coming up is a timber deck and stairway in Pacific Grove that will ship in spring 2011.

The frame for the addition in Templeton went up without a problem, it’s dried in and being finished by Semmes and company builders.

We are still working on the 8000 square foot barn in Harmony . The stucco is done and roofing near complete, now just waiting on weather. We are ordering the timber for the Japanese shrine soon.
We have a frame cut in the shop for an addition in Templeton ready to deliver, waiting on the weather. we’re hoping for January 10th.
The plans for the home in Kensington are off to the engineers, plan to build in 2011. We are also working on a scissor truss project for Carmel that will use reclaimed timber and timber deck and stairway in Pacific Grove that will ship in early spring 2011. Also coming up are SIP projects in Atascadero and Nipomo. There are some new photos of the 1200 square foot patio cover in Glendora. The design for the project in Morgan Hill is in engineering.

We are still working on the 8000 square foot barn in Harmony . The windows and doors are in, stucco and roofing complete in a few weeks. We are ordering the timber for the Japanese shrine soon.
The design of the home in Kensington is coming along, going back to architectural review. The trusses for Arroyo Grande are ready to ship. We are also working on a scissor truss project for Carmel that will use reclaimed timber and ship in early spring 2011. Also coming up are SIP projects in Atascadero and Nipomo. The 1200 square foot patio cover in Glendora went together without a hitch, should get finished photos soon. The design for the project in Morgan Hill is going to engineering soon.
