In the early 1990s, Pacific Post & Beam took part in the restoration of the Pratt house in Ojai, California. The work included replacing a 30 foot long 12×12 beam that had rotted due to a poorly installed post above during a previous remodel.  PP&B was also involved in replacing the deck railings above the beam.

The work performed was featured in a Fine Homebuilding article.  (March 1992, Issue no.72)
